Skirt: Gap, thrifted
Tank and Cardigan: Eddie Bauer hand-me-down from my mother
Shoes: Well-loved Keens (probably also from my mother...am I seeing a theme?)
Haircut: Thanks, Mom! (theme confirmed)
What are you wearing today? It's not to late to join the party.
I love the skirt! I love that shade of yellow, I need to find more items in that color. I also love KEEN shoes... I have two pairs. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of the haircut? A big change?
that skirt is so beautiful-- i love the yellow! and your hair looks AWESOME!! :)
ReplyDeleteAh! You are beautiful. I want a whole post dedicated to your head/hair, GO!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte - I have two pairs too! I even wore them both today (one is more walk-friendly and we had a 5-hour urban adventure). The hair! I was fully prepared to hate it, but I think I really like it! It is a big change. I have not had it this short since childhood.
ReplyDeleteEmery - Thank you!! I really love fashion week. YOU have made me much more aware of presenting myself (in a healthy way).
Autumn - You are so kind. I will work on a whole post on my hair...in fact...I should dig out some old photos! Coming soon.
You are so very summery! Those shoes are the best flats I've seen in a LONG time.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the haircut :) Looks great!
ReplyDeleteRachael - Thanks! I wish I would have bought these flats in every color.
ReplyDeleteSarah - Thank you!
Love the skirt! Yellow is so much fun in summer (wearing some today myself).
ReplyDeleteCydney - It took me way too long to discover that I could wear more than black, white, blue, and gray. Yay for color! Especially a good yellow in the summer. I can't wait for you to join us for Fall Fashion Week!
ReplyDeleteIn spring I wanted to get a skirt just like yours, but it was out in my size - I still totally regret it. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI love that you can wear clothes from your Mom, this worked well in my teenage years, too and it was so much fun.
oh my your hair! I guess it's been a couple of weeks since I've picked up milk or seen you at all! I must organize my life and hang out with you soon.
ReplyDeleteAppletree - I was quite happy with the skirt find! $4, hard to go wrong. I find it a little funny that I am still wearing my mom's hand-me-downs at 30, but hey, I don't complain.
ReplyDeleteMeg - I know! We need to hang out. Perhaps just a mommy and baby play date?
