Soren's hair yesterday:
(oh, and he really wanted me to take a picture of that purple car)
After some quick snips today mainly in the back, but bangs and ears too:
(yes, he's wearing the same shirt, and yes he slept in it all night)

I know, such a sweet kid, right, well he also makes faces like this:

Elliot today:
He also makes faces like this:
but I was laughing so hard I cut off the top of his head. Oops!)
These pictures hardly do justice to the real success of my trimming away their mullets but their faces are cuter than the back of their heads. However, their trimmed up little backs of their necks do have me kissing the previously mullet covered skin with fervor.
Might this also be the place to mention I actually did some shopping the other day for Easter supplies (at the Assistance League of Eugene), and splurged on this WONDERFUL new purse for one whole dollar. Yep, that's $1.00. It fits a book, my knitting, and my other normal purse fillings (chap stick, pen, paper, an extra diaper, bank & library cards, a checkbook, and my handy citizen's rule book complete with the constitution and bill of rights).
Best purse buy I've ever made:

Please tell me that is not the Bill of Rights that Dad once gave us all???!
Also, I'm not so sure I really like how much Soren isn't a baby anymore. He's not even the same person; he is cheesy.
Elliott on the other hand is so cute.
Come to think of it, I am pretty sure the "Citizen's Hand Book" came from Dad. Ha! In this day and age (and town), I never want to be too far from my constitution!
It's been really amazing to watch Soren turn into a boy rather than a baby/toddler. He is actually quite thoughtful and inquisitive (and yes, has cheesy moments when he imitates Cladio Abado's symphony sign-offs) and becoming a good friend =)
Elliot is quickly loosing the baby face too =( But at least there's a new one on the way!
I love everything about this post. And I miss you.
Cute purse!
wowo good job on the purse find! and man o man those boys are growing fast. I remember that shirt that E's wearing on Soren, Indy has the same one:)...lovely job on the cuts by the way...that can be so hard.
Thanks Leah...I thought you might appreciate some updated photos =)
Mel - Thanks!
Summer - Wish you were here thrifting with me! I cannot believe how quickly our children are growing...hopefully they will get some play time in before they are teens.
