First Truly Warm Day of 2009

***Warning post contains multiple photos of baby bums sans attire***

I enjoyed the deck and tried to get in some reading.

Søren decided clothes should be optional.

Elliot thought Søren was having and awful lot of fun in the water table.

So he opted to join him in the clothes-less fun.

Meanwhile Andrew was at work removing roots and stumps to make way for a garden.

I do not have any discrete shots of the concert the boys performed for us using some dowels as microphones, but it was hilarious, and have I mentioned yet how much I love having a back yard?!

How did you enjoy the sunny weekend?

I think the only time we were inside this weekend was when we were sleeping! LOVE this weather. Just ate lunchie outside on our terraced rocks. The blue jays wanted me to drop some food on the ground for them, but I didn't share. Maybe next time.

Baby butts! We've just started getting sunshine over in Idaho as well. I heard you all had a miserable spring, so I'm glad it's all come up roses.

Leah - Shame on you for not feeding your birds! =) Must have been a pretty good lunch. I am just waiting for the boys to wake up from nap, and we'll be back outside again today....perhaps with all our clothes on.

Jem - Yes, spring has been locking us away indoors, but this little sun break is lovely! I am happy Idaho is warming as well. Hope you are having fun having your folks around.

Aww, little nature people. Those years when they don't care about clothing are fun. We need to plan for gardening here, too...

Ha! Less laundry, that's for sure! "Mother Nature's Son(s)" (Do you know that Beatle's song?)

One of my favorite parts of the weekend was hugging you and stroking Elliot's head at church.

How's the garden plot coming along?

Same day of yard work, sans the naked little men.

Deanna - Yes...I love letting them "experience" the outdoors =) I'll try to publish my garden plan on Prepare To Eat soon, in case you need extra ideas.

Cherie - Exactly! I could do a load a day with the clothes they go through outside in the mud. Naked is easy clean up. We enjoyed seeing you at church as well. Hopefully there'll be more time for visiting this Sunday.

Garden outside looks much the same, but our seedlings inside are looking great!

Meg - Hopefully we'll both get another nice weekend to get our beds in order (and hey....maybe you guys should get bigger fences so that you can have a naked yard man too?)
