Congratulations to our dear friends, Ryan and Cassie, who welcomed Ayla Grace into the world on her due date, January 27th, 2008 at 7:15am (punctual!) weighing 7 pounds and 1 ounce and measuring 19 inches long!
Here is a lovely photo of Cassie's beautiful belly while I await photos of the newest little babe, perhaps to be taken in person this weekend!!

ReplyDeleteOh, sorry for the spoon, but so happy for Ryan and Cassie. That was a snowy day on which to be born. I'm glad Ayla did fine.
(If you're around Eugene this weekend, I hope we see you, although I know from experience it's hard to do everything we want to do when journeying.)
Oh I so happy she arrived healthy and safe. Now I'm a tad bit nervous though...I guess it just feels a bit more like a true surprise now that my spoon says boy but could be wrong? ahhh we will celebrate either way...such joy a new baby brings!

Thanks for the info! We heard the baby was born, but the father-in-law was content to hear "baby born; all in good health" and never bothered to ask about any other important details.
