I have several friends who have started talking about vegetarian leanings in the last few months. I feel compelled to at least share
this resource on vegetarianism, so that they can equip themselves to make the best decision and choose the most healthful form of vegetarianism.
Marianne,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the resource. As part of my Lenten reflection, I am going to be giving up meat for the period between February 6th and March 22nd. I haven't decided whether I will continue on any further--it mainly depends upon how my body reacts and how I feel.
I've often flirted with the idea of becoming vegetarian for the ethical reasons. Now, my health, in the form of stomach problems, has led me in that direction. I've been doing research on the topic, and I will include this site in my upcoming reading.
Thank you for the resource.
Dustin - I will look forward to hearing how it goes for you. I might suggest that the stomach problems are not with meat per se, but rather with meat that is not prepared in the way that makes it most digestible.
ReplyDeleteI have really enjoyed the research I have done through the WAPF (the authors of the post link), as they seem devoted to truth in research and honoring the way our bodies have evolved/been designed to eat and function.
